I tried a coffee hair treatment and loved it on the first use. I have used others and I don’t feel like it had change my hair a great deal. With the coffee treatment my hair looked healthier and brighter right away. I mixed 1 cup strong brewed coffee with 2 tbsp coffee granules and about 3tbsp coconut oil conditioner. I left it in my hair for 1 hr . Both left great results. Our brown hair looks richer in color and so much healthier

So disappointed that I don’t have a good comment about mask #11 because I had such high hopes that I could use the left over banana I had, not only for a snack, but also as a remedy for my dry damaged hair and end the night with a snack and a step closer to beautiful soft long hair. But that was not the case. Instead of having a nice relaxing moment in the shower rinsing out the mask out of my hair, I got to have a 30 minute rinse cycle just constantly trying to rub tiny itsy bitsy banana chunks out of my hair. During that 30 minute rinse, I had those tiny itsy bitsy banana chunks all over the shower floor, continuously finding more in my hair every time I rinsed and was yanking more and more hair out as I tried combing the pieces out of my hair with my fingers. Finally I gave up and decided to get out of the shower to try to salvage the moisture in my hair and the pieces of my hair that I still had attached to my head. Once I got out of the shower I decided to get a fine-toothed comb and comb out the remaining and multiplying small pieces until they were all out of my hair. That process took about 30-40 minutes and a ball of hair about the size of a small tennis ball that was pulled out every time I combed the banana mixture out. But anyways the whole point of this comment is that if I would’ve known that my hair would end more damaged than it was before the hair mask, I would’ve done a little more research on exactly how the mask should be made to not end up with sticky banana residue and damaged hair even worse than when I started. I think the best way to get actual results out of the mask would be to put it in a blender and then strain it to get all the little bits and pieces of banana out of the mixture before you put in your hair because if not you just end up with whole lot of sticky stuff in your hair and with a little less hair than you started with. Honestly loved the idea of the mask because of the benefits, just wished that there was a little more explanation on the best way to get the best results with less damage to your hair. Really wished this would have worked with my hair, but will probably give it one more try with a different method of making the mixture just so I won’t go off my first impression.
